Clearwater Beach Raising Parking Rates

If you're headed to the beach, Clearwater Beach is going to be charging a little more for their lots and parking meters.

Parking lot rates will become more streamlined. The rates had varied from $1 to $3 per hour in various lots. Now, they will all be $3.

Parking meters will become $3.50 per hour, however, the actual meters will be going away in favor of pay-by-plate.

The changes are expected to be completed by mid-January.
