ABC Action News reports that the Citrus County Sheriffs Office is in desperate search of the owner of a bag of “goodies” that was left at a Family Dollar Store.
The bag of “goodies” they refer to was loaded with not only yummy Reese’s cups and eggnog, but the person’s cell phone and.. over $700 in cash!
But wait…there’s more!
Of great interest to the Sheriffs Department was that this bag also included approximately 23 grams of meth, five grams of fentanyl, 15 grams of cocaine and three grams of weed. Wow!
Needless to say the Sheriff’s Office is diligently working to reunite these items with their rightful owner. Their FB post says, “Mostly because they left behind a half drank eggnog, and that would just be a waste,”!
It’s nice to know the Sheriffs Department has a sense of humor too.
Check out their FB post below. I LOVE the faces on the two deputies. It’s like they were sent from Central Casting in Hollywood.
So, if you happen to have misplaced your bag while shopping, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is holding your “goodies” for you. Just give them a call. I’m sure they’d love to return your items to you. 😉
