This is hilarious! Someone captured cell phone video of the mid-air shade fight. It all starts when the flight attendant asks everyone to make sure their window shades are open for landing. As soon as the men opens his shade, the passenger in the seat in front of him reaches back and shuts the shade. The guy shutting the shade isn't even in the row where the window is. Up down, up down and then they start yelling at each other. Finally the guy in the seat next to the window calls the flight attendant for help. Was that enough to stop the shade shutter? Did you ever end up sitting next to someone who was difficult on the plane?
