This Buccaneer doesn’t usually catch passes. He really doesn’t usually play offense. His job is to stop the other team from moving the ball. This time, however, he played a different role.

Vita Vea, othewrise known as Tevita Tuliʻakiʻono Tuipulotu Mosese Vaʻhae Fehoko Faletau “Vita” Vea (Yes, try pronouncing that one!) was put into an offensive play on the goal line on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

With 2nd and goal on the Atlanta one yard line, Vea was in the Buccaneer backfield, and he just ran past a few defenders to find himself wide open for a pass from Jameis Winston. The touchdown pass made the 347-pound defensive tackle the heaviest player to score a touchdown in NFL history.
