Lakeland PD Say Goodbye To K-9
Lakeland PD said goodbye to their retired K-9 Tiberius who retired and then was adopted to live out the rest of his life with a family. Lakeland PD put this tribute on their Facebook page.

Sadly we lost former K9 Partner Tiberius last week. Always excited to come to work, K9 Tiberius served the citizens of Lakeland from 2010 until his retirement in 2016. K9 Tiberius was a dual certified dog, trained in both patrol functions and bomb detection. He served as a loyal partner to the humans that loved him, both on the job and off.
Our sympathies go out to those who loved him, especially the Rauch family who loving adopted Tiberius after his retirement. Their love allowed him to enjoy the best retirement years any hero could ask for. THANK YOU, Eric and Noel.
