Trader Joe’s Florida Recall
Even if you do not shop at Trader Joe’s, this recall could still concern you or a loved one.
ABC Action News, reports that ready-to-eat sushi, salads and spring rolls sold at stores in Florida, (and many other states) have been recalled due to Listeria concerns.
According to ABC28, Fuji Food Products announced the recall saying that the problem was discovered during a routine inspection conducted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
The recalled products are under the Okami and Trader Joe’s brands. Be advised that the affected products may have also been sold at Tampa Bay Area 7 Elevens, Walgreens, Food Lions, Giant Eagle Supermarkets, Porkys, Bozzutos, Supreme Lobster, and Superior Foods.
Other states under the recall include, Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin and Washington D.C.
The products are packed in plastic trays with clear lids with sell-by dates listed on the labels.
