Coyote Reportedly Spotted In Madeira Beach, Pets Missing

Madeira Beach residents have reported the possible sighting of a coyote in their neighborhood. A warning has been issued.

Newschannel 8 reports that cats have gone missing over the last couple of weeks. During that time, a coyote was reported in the area of the 13,000 block of Gulf Blvd.

An e-mail informing residents to keep pets inside or on leashes was sent by the city of Madeira Beach.

If you encounter a coyote, make plenty of noise, and will likely scare it off. Also, report any sightings to the Florida FWC, and please do not feed or leave food out for them.
