Pasco County Firefighter Ducharme rescued this dog from a cold lake at 2 o’clock in the morning. They are calling her Lucky and as you can see, she will need extensive continued care to recover before she can be adopted. They took Lucky to the Pasco County Animal Services for a check-up and it was determined that she needs to find a rescue to recover.

Pasco County Animal Services reached out on their Facebook Page for help writing:

At 2am last night one our amazing Pasco County Fire Rescue firefighters found a dog swimming in a lake. He promptly rescued her and reached out to our Animal Control Team. Officer Ickes brought the pup to an emergency hospital overnight and the pup – named Lucky – is now being examined by our medical staff. She has been determined to need a rescue to pull her for continued care and is not available for adoption at this time. Know a rescue that may be able to help? Mention them in the comments below and they can reach out to to help this sweet girl. Thank to Firefighter Ducharme for helping out this sweet girl.
