A SuperShuttle vehicle is seen on December 13, 2019 in Miami, Florida. Reports indicate that SuperShuttle will cease operations at the end of the year after 36 years of operation.

It’s a sign of the times. With ride sharing services like Uber and Lyft, airport shuttles have seen customers opt for the cheaper and faster ride home. One of the most well-known is Super Shuttle and CNN reports tonight they will cease operating at the end of this month. The company has been in business since 1983. CNN says they have internal memos that say all service requests for December will be honored. They say service is already discontinued in Baltimore, Minneapolis, Phoenix and Sacramento.
