Christmas In Tampa Bay

We have gotten wise to the porch pirates. We have those doorbell cameras. We track deliveries to the minute with our cell phone. We have packages delivered to work so they don’t sit on our doorstep. But what about after the presents have been unwrapped? Clearwater Police have smart advice for those who got a Smart TV. Don’t leave the box out. It’s advertising what you got from Santa and lets thieves know which houses would be good to target when you go back to work. Porch pirates are a nuisance, but inviting someone to break into your home is a whole different story. So keep those boxes inside or just somewhere out of sight. Those big screen TV boxes can be enormous, but they’re super inviting to criminals. If you can spring for a 75″ TV, it’s safe to assume you have lots of other goodies inside.
