The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office has caught and arrested a man who officials say robbed a Wells Fargo Bank on Saturday morning (12/28/19).
According to ABC Action News, officials said a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 8902 Regents Park Drive Saturday morning at 9am. The man approached a teller, handed her a note and obtained the cash.
ABC also reports that the suspect escaped on foot to a nearby apartment complex, where he then fled on a motorcycle. Deputies report that they were called to the location and deployed several technical assets to try and locate the suspect, including K9 and aviation.
Using FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) on aviation, police eventually located a man who matched the description of the bank robber near 301 and continued to track the suspect. After deputies conducted a traffic stop on the man, it was determined that he was the robbery suspect.
The man is identified as 23 year-old Jamanie Seiforth, who was charged with robbery while wearing a mask and grand theft. Seiforth is being held at Orient Road Jail.
