This isn’t something to look forward to in 2020. And personally, I am shocked at the information that I am about to give you.

We’ve welcomed in a shiny, new year. But unfortunately, the new year is not so bright for many of our long-time, favorite chain restaurants. It seems that many of our popular restaurants will be closing their doors before the end of 2020.

Now, according to and, not ALL locations may be closing… but many on the list are expected to fold altogether.

Check out the tally of Florida restaurants that may disappear before the end of the year. (I’ll bet you’ll find some of your favorites on the list).

  3. Taco Bell (this one’s a shocker for me)
  4. Papa John’s
  5. Chipotle (no.. say it isn’t so!!)
  6. Subway (and I just started going because you guys just got the wraps!)
  7. Applebee’s
  8. Red Robin
  9. Ruby Tuesday’s
  10. Steak ‘N Shake (goodbye ole’ friend)
  11. Burger King
  12. Pizza Hut
  13. O’Charleys
  14. Quizno’s Sub
  15. Boston Market
  16. Friendly’s
  17. Kona Grill
  18. Fuddruckers
  19. Perkin’s Restaurant & Bakery
  20. Starbucks (many locations – but not all)
  21. Noodles Company
  22. Hometown Buffet
  23. Joe’s Crab Shack
  24. Marie Callendar’s (loved her pies)
