Florida MMA Fighter Killed
If you are a fan of MMA fighting… then this news is going to come as a shock.
MyMMAnews.com reports that pro-fighter Angel (Eljefe) Corchado has been killed.
The Florida MMA fighter was active on his social media pages as recently as yesterday, posting a fun video of himself working out with his punching bag and happily dancing. His quote was, This is my fun”.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, “El Jefe” Corchado died in a tragic car accident early Saturday morning (1/11) in Lake Worth Beach Florida.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Corchado moved to Boynton Beach in 2010. Corchado last fought professionally for Shogun Fights in 2018, losing by first round knockout to Geraldo Almonte.
Reports say that Corchado was driving his 2014 Chevy Sonic on the northbound exit ramp to 6th Avenue, when his vehicle collided with a traffic light pole at the bottom of the ramp.
The accident which occurred just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday, is still under investigation at this time. FHP say that Corchado, who died at the scene, was not wearing a safety belt.
