Twitter account @OnThisDisneyDay sasy the grand opening that day included a band of 2,000 high school students, fireworks and 50,000 balloons were released. Ever seen Space Mountain with the lights ON? Not many have!
I got to ride the ol' coaster last week at Magic Kingdom. I think I've got about a year or two left before I have to retire from that one because we're about the same age.
