Clearwater Preps For Sugar Sand Festival

Residents of the Gulf coast of Florida know that the beauty of our beaches stems from the pure white sugar-sand that fills our shores. That sugar-sand, and it's beauty, are a huge draw for tourists as well. So why not celebrate it with a Sugar Sand Festival?

The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival on Clearwater Beach is just around the corner, and tickets are now on sale.

For those unfamiliar with the festival, the event brings in artists from around the world who transform tons of sand into amazing sculptures, right on Clearwater Beach. This year's theme is "SANDimals, An Animal Adventure". 

Other entertainment will include; free live music, fireworks, kid’s play zones, street performers, artisans and crafters and even sand sculpting classes. There will be fun for the entire family. It's truly a must see!

The event will run for 17 days, April 10th. through April 26th.
