Janet Jackson Announces Tampa Tour Date

Janet Jackson has announced three dates here in Florida for her Black Diamond World Tour 2020, and one is here in Tampa! She’ll play Amalie Arena on June 27. If you want to make a week of it and become a roadie, head to Miami to see her June 24 at American Airlines Arena or she’ll also be in Orlando June 26 at Amway Center.

Janet promises “an all-new production featuring new music from her highly anticipated, forthcoming album “Black Diamond”, set for release this year.” But she says expect to hear all her Q105 hits from the first 12 albums too, including a special performance of Rhythm Nation 1814, which just celebrated its 30th anniversary. Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 13 at noon at the ReliaQuest Ticket Office at AMALIE Arena, Ticketmaster outlets and at Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are $49.95, $59.95, $74.95, $109.95, $139.95, $179.95, $199.95, $274.95, $299.95, $349.95, $399.95, $449.95 and $499.95 (plus facility fee or service charges).

  If you missed them in Tampa, you have one more chance to see the Rolling Stones when the Hackney Diamonds '24 tour comes to Camping World Stadium in Orlando. And if you miss this show, you'll have to catch them on one of their future tours over the next few decades... because even though the show is sponsored by AARP, the Stones show no signs of slowing down.

  Miami's show will be on June 18. The next night the tour comes to Orlando. Then the tour moves north but comes back to Florida for a show in Jacksonville on July 2. Unfortunately still no word of any Tampa dates for the tour.

  If you've been to a Buffett show, you know the real show isn't on stage, it's in the crowd. This will be the 3rd attempt at making this concert happened. Jimmy had shoulder surgery that postponed the concert in 2019. Then our friend COVID-19 meant a postponement of the rescheduled 2020 concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa.
