An Edgewater, Florida woman is $2 million richer after playing a new Florida Lottery scratch off game.

Fox 35 in Orlando reports that Joyce Karlberg won $2 million after purchasing her lucky ticket from a Publix store on S. Ridgewood Ave. in her hometown of Edgewater, Florida.

She is one of the big winners in the lottery’s newest game 100X Scratch-Off. The ticket cost her only $10 and features eight prizes of $2 million.

According to Florida Lottery officials, Ms. Karlberg took a lump sum payment of $1,605,000.00. I’d say that was a pretty good payoff.

And the trend of winning tickets being bought from grocers continues. Karlberg is another big winner who purchased their ticket from her local grocery store. We’ve reported on this trend HERE.

Is the grocery store the place to find those lucky tickets? Hmmm…!
