Anna Maria Island Scores Honors As Top Travel Destination in U.S.

Trip Advisor put out a list of the “top trending” travel destinations for 2020. It's a look at getaways across the U.S. And guess what local beach made the list?

Anna Maria Island ranked third on TripAdvisor’s “Top 25 Trending Destinations in the U.S.”

Trip Advisor pointed out on their website: The quaint feel of Anna Maria Island makes it the perfect place to eat grouper sandwiches and kayak with dolphins...a cozy paradise with an Old Florida vibe.

Key Largo earned the top spot on the list. Rounding out the top five: Moab, Utah, Santa Barbara, California and Brooklyn, New York also made the top five.
