After dozens of visits to Busch Gardens Tampa, I have a new favorite ride. And I didn't even ride it.

I'm a huge fan of Falcon's Fury. It's so intense when those chairs tip and you're facing that heart-racing drop to the ground. It's even better when the park is open late and you get to see the city lights downtown Tampa in the distance. Cheetah Hunt and Tigris are right up there too. But after my visit to Busch Gardens yesterday, Congo River Rapids is by far my new top pick. And no, I've never ridden it. Yesterday, I discovered the hidden gem that is the water cannons stationed right near the ride's course. For 50 cents, you get to choose a water gun to squirt riders from above. They have something similar at Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges at Universal Orlando, but I hate doing that drive.

I developed a scoring system that was AWESOME. I'll share that after these photos.

We came up with a scoring system if you want to play along next time you're at Busch Gardens. Here is the points breakdown to play "Geno's Congo River Rapids Water Assault."

You get 1 point for each rider hit.
You get a 5 point bonus if you hit someone wearing a poncho.
You get a 10 point bonus if you hit everyone on the ride with one shot.
You get a 25 point bonus if you hit someone preoccupied with their cell phone.
You get a 50 point bonus if you hit a guy with a man bun.

ULTIMATE 100 POINT BONUS:
Hit a guy with a man bun preoccupied with his cell phone.
