Last night, state health officials announced new information on the positive cases of coronavirus here in our state.
According to Florida's DOH, eight people tested positive for the virus. Two of those patients are Pinellas residents and one lives in Pasco. The Pinellas cases include a 67-year-old man and a 64-year-old man. The Pasco case involves a 46-year-old man.
The other positive tests were in the following counties:
A 68-year-old man in Nassau County
A 68-year old woman Georgia resident who is in Alachua County
A 73-year old man in Collier County
A 68-year-old woman in Collier County
A 64-year old woman in Collier County
All eight patients will be isolated "until cleared by public health officials," according to the DOH. The seven Florida residents are categorized as travel-related.
