The Tampa Bay Times reports that restaurants in Tampa are being given notice that they made need to close earlier than usual in the effort to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. Tampa Police Department officers hand-delivered the news this morning. Most of those notified were in the South Howard Avenue area.
On a brighter note, if you’re looking to enjoy a meal from your favorite restaurant, the home delivery service Uber Eats has announced they are waiving delivery fees during this ordeal. This will help not only local restaurants get through this. It’ll also help many who are out of work who will become Uber drivers to make ends meet.
