With the coronavirus bringing everyone down, it's nice to know we still have a few things we can count on to cheer us up. For instance, the weekly Florida Lottery winner announcements. That always brings us some happy thoughts... right? This week's lucky winner is from Orlando.

According to the Florida Lottery, 54 year-old Clarivel Diaz collected a top prize of $2 million dollars from the 100X scratch-off game. This game happens to be one of my favorites since it's launch in January.

Ms. Diaz purchased her winning $10 ticket from Murphy Express, located at 6150 South Goldenrod Road in Orlando. She has elected to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,605,000.00.

The retailer (Murphy Express) will receive a $4,000 bonus commission from the lottery for selling the winning scratch-off ticket. So... a hearty congratulations to Ms. Diaz, and Murphy Express!

Keep playing responsibly, and maybe some day we'll be writing about you!

Here's a peak at a few other happy lottery winners and how much THEY won...
