Maybe it's a sign of the times. Chairman and CEO Paul Tash says "extradordinary times call for extraordinary measures." While many get their news online, some still prefer the feel of that paper in their hands. But the Tampa Bay Times reports this morning they will only print editions twice a week because of a drop in advertising revenue. They say the change is temporary. The change starts next week (April 6). The TampaBay.com website will continue to be updated. The Times says some staff will be put on furlough for 2 months. Others will see a reduction in hours.
