Cruise Ships With Sick Passengers Can’t Come On Shore In Florida
Bay News 9 reports the U.S. Coast Guard has given notice to cruise ships that they must treat sick passengers on board. The rule applies to any ship with more than 50 passengers. They say most ships that are lined up right now off Florida’s coast have just crews on board. Governor DeSantis has said we can’t take these passengers in because our medical resources are stretched too thin already. This new ruling requires these ships to file a report with the numbers of sick and dead every day.
