Welders are now learning how to sew according to a Channel 8 story. They've been putting in awnings for homes and businesses for over 50 years... but things are changing fast due to the coronavrius at Boulevard Awning Company in Clearwater. Their daily routine has changed to making face masks in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. On their Facebook page they say the first priority is to provide masks to frontline medical personnel. How fast did this change all happen for the business? The prototype was just completed last week.

The masks won't stop you from catching contracting the virus, but it will help keep those who have it that don't know it from spreading it around. If you can't find a mask, they say just cover your mouth and nose with a simple bandana or handkerchief. Or a scarf too works if you have one... not the most vital accessory for us Floridians.
