Selmon Expressway Tolls Going Up

Working from home? It’s saving you money in gas and tolls. But when you do return to the office, both will probably cost more. Gas prices will certainly head back up and so will tolls. Fox 13 reports the cost to drive on the Selmon Expressway will go up in October by 2.5%. They say the east mainline will cost $1.88 ($2.24 if you don’t have a SunPass device). The west mainline will be $1.25 or $1.61. [Source: Fox 13]

  Originally the concert was simply postponed, but on June 10, Amalie Arena tweeted the show is officially canceled. They say refunds will be processed automatically for Ticketmaster ticket buyers within 30 days.

  This rescheduled show will be without Rick Springfield. The show will be at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

• June 3: The Rolling Stones

  If you missed them in Tampa, you have one more chance to see the Rolling Stones when the Hackney Diamonds '24 tour comes to Camping World Stadium in Orlando. And if you miss this show, you'll have to catch them on one of their future tours over the next few decades... because even though the show is sponsored by AARP, the Stones show no signs of slowing down.
• June 18 & 19: Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett

  Miami's show will be on June 18. The next night the tour comes to Orlando. Then the tour moves north but comes back to Florida for a show in Jacksonville on July 2. Unfortunately still no word of any Tampa dates for the tour.

  Originally the concert was just postponed, but on July 29, the band announced their new 2021 dates and Florida is not on the list.

  A night of non-stop Q105 hits... "I Can't Go For That," "Sara Smile," "You Make My Dreams," "Kiss Is On My List," "Rich Girl," "Private Eyes," "One On One," ... maybe even "Jingle Bell Rock!" We'll have to wait for this one though. It has been rescheduled for September 20, 2021.

  A rare chance to see an intimate performance with Rod at the Hard Rock Event Center in Tampa. The last time Rod played the room, he walked out on stage and saw the small audience and jokingly asked if he was getting his normal fee.

  The Bucs' biggest fan Nick Carter is bringing his Backstreet Boys home to Tampa for a show at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

• December 4: Jimmy Buffett

  If you've been to a Buffett show, you know the real show isn't on stage, it's in the crowd. This will be the 3rd attempt at making this concert happened. Jimmy had shoulder surgery that postponed the concert in 2019. Then our friend COVID-19 meant a postponement of the rescheduled 2020 concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa.
