Geno / Q105How can restaurants accommodate people with the new stipulations of 25% capacity and outdoor dining? What are the best ways to ensure diners are exercising social distance?
Problem...Solution! The city of Tampa is giving some restaurants permission to expand their dining spaces into places that are normally off-limits. Some parking lots, sidewalks, and city street sections can now be utilized as dining spaces.
Let’s run through some of the road closures that will now be designated as café and retail areas:
-Ybor City: About six blocks of E 7th Avenue, from N 15th Street to N 21st Street
-Hyde Park: W Snow Avenue between S Rome Avenue and W Swann Avenue
-SOHO: One block of S Howard Avenue between W Morrison Avenue and W Bristol Avenue
