So far, there haven't seemed to be many problems with the beaches opening back up in Pinellas County this week. But they opened Monday. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office wants things to go just as smoothly when this weekend comes around. On Saturday, we'll have sun and temps in the 80s. Plus it'll be the first weekend the beaches have been open in a while.

They've created a web page for you to check before you leave the house. That gives you plenty of time to alter plans if your favorite beach is already full or nearing capacity. Just head here and check the color indicator for the particular beach you're planning to visit. If it's green, get in the car and go. If it's yellow, you might want to pick a different spot. If it's red, don't bother, they're already closed.

They're giving real time updates for beaches in Belleair Beach, Clearwater, Dunedin, Ft. Desoto, Gandy Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Madeira Beach, North Redington Beach, Redington Shores, Seminole, St. Pete Beach, Tarpon Springs, Tierra Verde and Treasure Island. They also monitor parking lots.
