Something just doesn't feel right. The hot weather is rolling in, the sun is up longer, but there's no Rays baseball to watch on TV at night.

I get up early so I don't always watch all nine innings, but baseball games are on in our house as we prepare dinner and wind down. It's part of our routine. I don't mind watching a Rays classic on Fox Sports. They re-air plenty of games from the Rays World Series run, which brings back great memories. But I know I'm not alone in that I'm looking forward to real games where we don't know the outcome.

This afternoon MLB will give the players association their proposal for the 2020 season. The proposal includes requesting players to go with a 50/50 share of revenue just for this season.

P.S. One of the things I miss most about sporting events is flyovers.
