Jenny McCarthy attends the premiere of Fox's "The Masked Singer" Season 2

May 13, 2020 update: The show has been postponed. A tweet from the Mahaffey says the event will now happen Thursday, July 1, 2021. They ask that ticket holders save the tickets they currently have, as they will be valid for the new performance date. If you have any questions regarding the new date, call (727) 892 – 5721.

Original story:
If you’re hooked on the odd Fox singing competition show The Masked Singer, a live version of the show is coming to St. Pete. Not much is known about what to expect, but The Mahaffey Theater will host “The Masked Singer Live” on June 28. Tickets start at about $25. Or you can dish out ten times that much if you want to have the best seats in the house and meet the celebs hosting the show. Now don’t just assume you’re going to hang out with Little Wayne or Drew Carey. They’re not saying who exactly will be on this tour yet. All they’ll say is there are two celebrities who will host. They also say there will be a local celebrity in costume that you’ll have to identify. BTW, the hosts of the TV show will not be a part of this either.

If you’ve been watching this year’s competition, stop here if you don’t want to know who’s who on The Masked Singer because I’m pretty confident in all of these… except for one. That last performer from episode 1 is someone I’m clearly unfamiliar with. By the way, I’m thoroughly ashamed of myself for getting back in to this show tonight. I skipped season 2 entirely, but I left the TV on after the Super Bowl and here we are… I’m sucked in again.
