It’s always sad to see an institution like this call it a day. Apparently the effects of loss of business due to the coronavirus spread is forcing owners to close up La Tropicana in Tampa for good, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The owner told the times “80% of my regular customers are older people and they’re afraid to come out.” They say there is some interest from buyers, but nothing seems firm yet.
