Clearwater Offering Vouchers For Downtown Restaurants

In order to increase business at their downtown restaurants, bars and cafes, Clearwater’s Community Redevelopment Agency is offering credit vouchers for a limited time. They are calling this Clearwater’s Summer 2020 Dine in Downtown Program.

Clearwater residents who would like one of those $20 vouchers, good toward the bill at participating locations can fill out this form by June 26. The vouchers will be good July 1st through August 31st. The vouchers will be sent out through e-mail at the end of June and are limited to 2,500 vouchers worth $20 apiece.

Restaurants, bars and cafes in the Downtown Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency area can participate by filling out this form. Those businesses in the Community Redevelopment Agency area must be open "during nights and weekends July 1 through August 31". Those businesses must apply by June 12, 2020.

Some Florida businesses are reopening as the number of COVID-19 cases begin to go down. Many have limited hours and capacity so it's a good idea to call ahead.
