Jacksonville will host the event where President Donald Trump’s accepts the Republican party’s nomination for reelection.

North Carolina's loss is Florida's gain. Governor Ron DeSantis had said that our state would be open to host either the Republican National Convention or the Democratic National Convention because of the bump in revenue for the state.

The event will be held at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena; it holds 15,000 people. More details will be released over the next couple of weeks.

The party’s more rote business, like discussions over the platform, will still be held in Charlotte because they have to adhere to a contract.
