Rod Stewart has announced the postponed date of his upcoming Tampa show at Amalie Arena.

Originally scheduled for this summer, August 26, Stewart’s appearance with Cheap Trick has been moved to August 14, 2021.

Tickets will be honored from the original show date, but refunds are being offered.

Rod has had a difficult time not being on stage. According to his wife, Penny Lancanster, “He’s a workaholic, so there is a frustration there. He just wants to be out on stage. He feels he’s had retirement forced on him, as his upcoming tours this year have been canceled, which he doesn’t like.” (From an interview with U.K.’s Daily Mail, as transcribed by The Mirror) Click here for more on his story.
