The Department of Business and Professional Regulation has suspended the consumption of alcohol at bars around the state, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The order takes effect immediately. According to Channel 8, the announcement came shortly after the Florida Department of Health reported a record 8,942 new coronavirus cases. A sharp increase from just yesterday. UPDATE: Restaurants are not impacted by today’s announcement. Also bars, can sell alcohol to go. But the drinks can’t be consumed on site.

What about COVID-19?
SharePlayers and staff alike will be tested every other day. There will be temperature and symptom checks twice per day. Players won't be wearing face masks, but non-players will. "Celebratory contact" like high fives, fist bumps, hugs... even spitting - not allowed. Balls will be thrown out once they've been touched.
What if there’s an outbreak in a team’s city?

How many games will there be?
ShareThey say it's not finalized, but it'll likely be 60 games. Most games will be against division opponents like the Red Sox and Yankees.
