Clearwater Police tweeted that both victims were actually leaving the beach trying to get to safety when they were struck. They're both now at Morton Plant Hospital. IONTB reports that an adult male is in critical condition. They say paramedics were seen administering CPR on him. The other is said to be in stable condition. This happened near Somerset Street on the sand sometime around 2:15pm. [Source: IONTB]
