A new K9 unit joins the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
The new K9, Hunter, and Deputy Garrett Erickson join the Land O'Lakes Detention Center. Hunter came from Colombia, South America, and is a year-old yellow Labrador Retriever. He's trained in detecting narcotics.
Deputy Erickson has been with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office since 2016. He has been a Field Training Officer, a member of the detention centers TACT team and PCSO's SWAT Team, as well as a member of the Inner Perimeter Security Team.
