Pasco County pushed their school start date back to August 24th. Pinellas County Schools Superintendent Michael Grego hopes to do the same in his county.
This delay would allow for teachers and staff to have more time to plan for the school year.
No matter what type of learning scenario parents have selected for their children (i.e. in-person or online) the date would be the same.
