They'd been missing for a week, but St. Petersburg police this morning tweeted that they have an update. They say Alexis Jolley and her mother Angela were in Nebraska. It was there where the mother had a "medical episode" and was taken to a hospital in Omaha. She didn't make it. They say Alexis reached out to family members to update them. Alexis is said to be ok.
The two went missing on July 22. Their phones were left behind. They were seen on a surveillance camera at Angela's bank withdrawing cash that day, but no sign of them was found again until Saturday morning when their vehicle was seen in Memphis, according to Fox 13.
