I woke up Saturday morning and was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Chadwick Boseman.

On Friday night, we were watching baseball with my daughter. We were talking to her about Jackie Robinson. I chimed in, "Mommy interviewed the man who played Jackie Robinson in a movie." And then I said to Doug, "As a matter of fact, Chadwick might end up being one of the few actors I've interviewed that our daughter will grow up watching, and he will be relevant to her (because he's young with decades ahead of him to star in films)."

Then to read about his passing from colon cancer...So this hits close to home for more than one reason. I'm sharing this interview with you. I walked away knowing this man was going to be a super star in his field. Talented, kind, and gone too soon. Life is short. Life is precious. Love and prayers to Chadwick Boseman's family and friends.
