Gene Simmons has helped some local musicians from Whistler, B.C., Canada go viral after he jammed with them recently at an outdoor cafe.

Pique News Magazine reports that the performance took place on August 22 at the Alpine Cafe, which was hosting a number of local musicians putting on a set on the patio. Simmons and wife/Canadian actress Shannon Tweed have owned a home in the area for a number of years.

Monty Biggins, who was one of the guitarists performing, told the outlet that Kostaman, another guitarist performing that day, gave Simmons a quick shout out and invited him to perform and then later joined in.

The only thing that almost stopped the jam was the pending noise curfew in the nearby neighborhood. A cop car pulled up to the cafe, but Biggins said, "But by that time, we were packing down, so it wasn’t an issue. And it’s Gene Simmons, so we kept going with it. Who wouldn’t?" (Honestly, it's a valid point.)

Video of the jam can be viewed below.
