We are at the statistical peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.
The National Hurricane Center is following five systems in the Atlantic. There are two Tropical Storms, Paulette and Rene.
There are also two areas that are areas of low pressure. One is the cause of thunderstorms off of the Central Bahamas. It’s expected to go to the Eastern part of the Gulf of Mexico. The other low pressure system holds about a 20% chance of turning into a storm. It is moving westward and southwestward and could be over the Gulf of Mexico by early next week.
