What Rod Stewart Is Listening To While He Quarantines

There are some bands and singers you can just leave on repeat all day as you relax at the house. What’s Rod Stewart been cranking up at home? It’s probably not a name you recognize.

There are some bands and singers you can just leave on repeat all day as you relax at the house. What's Rod Stewart been cranking up at home?

It's probably not a name you recognize. He doesn't fill big stadiums and we won't probably see him at Amalie Arena anytime soon. In fact, the guy still plays pubs. He's not really new. According to WhatsOnHighlands.com, he's been playing hotels, clubs, and bars for 15 years. He does some cover songs from rock to Celtic folk. Rod's been singing the praises of a Scottish singer, guitarist and songwriter named Liam McGrandles.

Rod Stewart's such a fan of this guy that they even did a duet. Rod reached out to tell McGrandles what a big fan of his music he is. The song he likes in particular is this one, The Big Cup, according to the Falkirk Herald. Take a listen and see if you're as big of a fan as Rod is. Given Rod's love for soccer (or football to him), it's easy to see why he loves this song. I dig it too - makes me feel like I'm back in a South Boston pub back in my college days.
