It’s been a whirlwind 24 hours for the Tampa Bay Lightning. The team traveled almost 3,000 miles on Tuesday (9/29) from the Edmonton bubble back to Tampa Bay.

The players got some sleep on the plane with Lord Stanley before landing back in Tampa Bay.

Once the team landed, they were reunited with their families of whom they had been away from since July 26th.

Then it was a trolley parade to Amalie Arena! Fans lined Bayshore to cheer for their hometown boys! Needless to say the team and the city were in the od to celebrate.

Last stop was at Amalie Arena where there was a VIP Celebration with owner Jeff Vinik and the player’s family members.

It has been quite the 24 hours. Now time to get some rest before part 2 of the celebration begins with the Boat Parade along the Riverwalk and the party at Raymond James Stadium coming up on Wednesday (9/30).
