For travelers who would like to get tested, Tampa International Airport has teamed up with BayCare Health System to offer two types of tests.
There are travel destinations that require a negative test result to avoid quarantine. Tampa International Airport is the first to offer this service. The airport will have Covid-19 testing for all departing and arriving passengers. The service will be available through the month of October daily from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on a walk-in basis to ticketed passengers who are flying or have flown within 3 days with proof of travel.
The two tests available and their prices are: A PCR Covid-19 Test ($125) and a rapid antigen test ($57). The PCR test results take about 48 hours. The antigen test results can be back in 15 minutes.

On a much smaller scale, United Airlines began a program of testing its passengers traveling between San Francisco and Hawai'i in an effort to increase the business on their airline. Their plan will not begin until October 15.
