It was one week ago that we celebrated a Stanley Cup win for the Tampa Bay Lightning. A boat parade followed by a rally at Raymond James Stadium had Bolts fans showing up by the thousands to thank the team for delivering some much needed good news in 2020. The Rays and the Bucs have filled the void with some great wins, but if you miss hockey, last night the NHL made a big announcement.

Next season's target start date has been set. The league hopes for games to kick off on January 1, 2021. The National Hockey League Players’ Association and National Hockey League made the announcement last night. A date for the start of training camp has yet to be determined.
