Can You Take A Voting Booth Selfie In Florida?
It varies from state to state, but in Florida, taking selfies in the booth is generally not allowed. You’re definitely not allowed to take a picture in the polling place….

A ‘Mic’ article from 2012 said it costs 15 cents to produce a single “I Voted” sticker. “Though it’s unclear exactly how many stickers governments around the country did purchase, it is worth noting that ensuring that one of these stickers would be available to each of the United States’s 230 million voters would cost over $34 million. With these stickers available all over the country, there is little doubt that the government spent millions for adults to wear stickers,” notes the author. Clearly, the author lacks any sense of whimsy!

Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley spoke with folks at 10 News. He says he doesn’t care for the term “ballot selfie.” He said in his county, they will discourage voters from taking photos of themselves holding the ballot inside a building where people are voting.
Corely said, “The intent of the law was to take a picture of your ballot and only your ballot."
