TRAILER: David Bowie Film ‘Stardust’
The official trailer for Stardust, a new film about David Bowie, is now available.
Stardust centers around Bowie first coming to the U.S. in 1971 and inventing the Ziggy Stardust persona. Bowie is portrayed by Johnny Flynn, while Marc Maron plays Mercury Records publicist Ron Oberman. Jena Malone plays Bowie’s wife, Angie.
Stardust was originally scheduled to premiere at the Tribeca Festival Festival, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film will premiere on VOD and other digital services on November 25.
First announced back in February 2019, Stardust has reportedly not been granted any rights to use Bowie’s music in the film, according to a tweet from Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones.
