Tampa TV Anchor Leaves The News Desk

Talk about a career change! Last night on Twitter, Tampa TV news reporter and anchor Meredyth Censullo shared the news that she's making some big life changes.

Censullo has left the news desk at Channel 8 to take a position at Florida International University. She'll be a part of NFSTC, a program that "provides quality forensic services including training, research, & technology assistance to justice, defense & forensic communities," according to their Twitter. Censullo said this morning she'll be a part of the media team that will work with lab, law enforcement & military professionals to improve forensic science. Friday was her last day after 22 years in television. 14 of those have been here in Tampa, she says.
