Upscale Furniture Retailer Opening First Tampa Location Friday

It’s been a tough time for malls, even before the pandemic. So we’ll see how things go when luxury furniture seller Arhaus opens their first Tampa area location Friday. The Tampa Bay Times reports the store at International Plaza is about 14,000 square feet. Other Florida locations include Sarasota, Naples, Palm Beach, and Jacksonville.

Don’t expect any budget pieces. Looking at their web site, some of their dining tables tend to run about $5,000 to $6,000. A nightstand listed as being on sale for $649 is regularly $949. They also sell lighting, rugs, bedding, jewelry and holiday decor. [Source: Tampa Bay Times]

  Miami's show will be on June 18. The next night the tour comes to Orlando. Then the tour moves north but comes back to Florida for a show in Jacksonville on July 2. Unfortunately still no word of any Tampa dates for the tour.

  If you've been to a Buffett show, you know the real show isn't on stage, it's in the crowd. This will be the 3rd attempt at making this concert happened. Jimmy had shoulder surgery that postponed the concert in 2019. Then our friend COVID-19 meant a postponement of the rescheduled 2020 concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

  Finally! The rescheduled performance date at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa! The Stones were originally set to play Ray J July 5, 2020. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets for the previously scheduled show will be honored.

  The concert was originally set for March 26. Cher hoped to reschedule, but given the uncertainty of how long we'll be dealing with coronavirus, she has decided to cancel the show so fans can get refunds.
